7th Annual Clinical Embryologist?s Summit Conference ? Madison, WI
You are invited to attend the 7th Annual Clinical Embryologist?s Summit Conference to be held in Madison, Wisconsin on Saturday, May 6th, 2006.
This year's Summit Conference, "Vitrification Strategies: Alternative techniques and strategies for the cryopreservation of gametes and embryos", will provide participants a chance to share their experiences, methods and views on when and how to cryopreserve gametes and embryos. Cryopreservation is a tool that is used to augment the pregnancy rate per fresh cycle, reduce the risk or severity of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome or to preserve fertility. The goal of this Summit Conference is to have participating programs and vendors discuss methods and strategies for the cryopreservation of oocytes, ovarian tissue and differing stages of embryos.
The Clinical Embryologist?s Summit Conference is an annual event designed to give participants an informal setting to share ideas and interact with invited speakers and other embryologists. Interaction is strongly encouraged and is an essential part of this conference. This year's invited speakers are Stanley Leibo, PhD, Mark Larman, PhD, Marlane Angle, PhD, HCLD (ABB), and Marc Portmann, MT (ASCP), ELD (ABB), MHA. Invited speakers will provide an educational backdrop for the Summit which is expected to foster interaction and discussion within a small meeting atmosphere. All participants are encouraged to present any information that they would like to share and are asked to bring visual or other materials for discussion.
Additionally, on the afternoon of Friday May 5th, Irvine Scientific will be conducting a hands-on Vitrification Workshop. This workshop will provide participants with a wonderful opportunity to practice vitrifying and thawing embryos on the day preceding the conference.
Both the Vitrification Workshop (Friday May 5th) and Embryologist?s Summit Conference (Saturday May 6th) will be held at the Fluno Center for Executive Education in Madison, WI.
