I wish to inform you that the Department of Animal Biotechnology, Madras Veterinary College, Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, (TANUVAS) Chennai-7, India is organizing a 8th National level hands-on training programme on “ICSI” for 2 weeks starts from Sep 22nd, 2014.

This training programme is designed to cover brief theoretical aspects with extensive hands-on training on ICSI and the following topics on animal model.

•  Collection, Screening and selection of oocytes
•  In-Vitro maturation (IVM) and assesment of oocytes
•  Semen collection and analysis
•  Sperm processing for ICSI
•  Micromanipulator set-up 
  
•  Removal/Denudation of cumulus cells
•  Sperm immobiliztion, selection and injection (ICSI)
•  Assessment of fertilization and Embryo culture  
  

The training course fee will be intimated to selected candidates. Total 4 candidates will be selected for this 7th National level training programme, remaining applied candidates list will considered for next upcoming programme. 

Selected candidates accommodation will be provided in University gust house and University hostel (Based on rooms availability).
