
Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) is an in vitro fertilization procedure in which a single sperm is injected directly into an egg; this procedure is most commonly used to overcome male infertility problems.
ICSI is one of the most important skilled procedures in ART which is now done on a routine basis at every IVF centre. The most important part is perfecting the fine skills of ICSI. This course is suitable for embryologists who have been working in IVF lab and are experienced in handling oocytes and embryos.
Course objectives The course objective is to provide a theoretical and hands on training for Junior Trainee embryologists attached with IVF labs with basic IVF knowledge and experience in handling oocytes and embryos. At the end of this course they will be able to perform ICSI confidently with smooth transition.
