Confocal photomicrograph of mouse hatching blastocyst stained for apoptosis (? 400, original magnification). The embryo is labeled with bisbenzimide, terminal deoxynucleotide transferase (TdT)?mediated deoxyuridine triphosphate (dUTP)?biotin nick end?labeling (fluorescein isothiocyanate), and propidium iodide. All nuclei of the blastocyst are labeled with bisbenzimide (blue channel) and apoptotic nuclei with terminal deoxynucleotide transferase (TdT)?mediated deoxyuridine triphosphate (dUTP)?biotin nick end?labeling (green channel).Published in Obstet Gynecol Mar 105(3),2005.
