Conception in Spain?
In the UK the waiting time for NHS delivered IVF treatment can sometimes exceed 56 weeks, resulting in many couples investigating other options. The costs for private treatment range from £4,000 to £8,000 per cycle, with an average success rate of 27%. But couples desperate for a child are not easily deterred: last year 30,000 of them carried on relentlessly, regardless of the costs, waiting times, or the often-associated high stress levels.
Obviously there is often a biological / medical reason behind infertility problems, which can only be treated with full professional medical care, but at the same time, if a woman allows herself to become over stressed about her inability to conceive, this also exacerbates the problem. In certain infertility cases, however, no specific medical cause can be attributed and it is quite likely that the barrier to conception is primarily psychological, or stress-related.
