Hi, I `ve been using the ANAGAS infra red CO2 handheld analyser for about 6-7 yrs. I`ve been very happy with it -it just draws from your sampling port. In terms of thermometers : i`ve recently introduced an infra red hand held thermometer ( laser sited , if you feel the need). I use it as a quick ( actually very quick) means of measuring temperature. It is non-contact ( = no cross contamination) and works well ( ie agrees with) my mercury and thermocouple based thermometers ( measures max & min for my inc`s & fridge) . the price was non-scarey too. Good luck Damian
