Day 6 Blastocyst transfer
Dr.Thomas said on 29 June 2009

"Hi Manab,

We do day 5 blastocyst transfer for all the patients. Preferably I used to transfer only Expanded Blastocyst on Day 5, it works very well. Sometimes some of the patient's embryos were slow, these embryos cannot be neglected. Either these embryos can be kept for Day 6 or Day 7 for further culture. If these embryos expanded still you can transfer or You can vitrify those embryos.
We have pregnancy with day 6, Day 7 as well as Day 5, Day 6 and day 7 hatched blastocyst also.

Here I am attaching some literature evidence:
"Healthy twin delivery after day 7 blastocyst transfer coupled with assisted hatching"
Fertility and Sterility - M.Tucker

"Vitrified day 7 blastocyst given 55% clinical pregnancy after post thaw ET " Hondori-Japan

i hope this will help you
THOMAS."
