"dear all
i've used halosperm technique for DNA fragmentation in sperm , especialy when embryos decline sfter day 3 ( sperm DNA manifest itself after day 3) and when i have repeated icsi failure ,
i'm really deceived coz my results are very controversial (as are results in many studies )"

"very good question. I am also interested in testing DNA fragmentation in sperm and improper DNA packaging.
Thanks to the person who replied. I actually checked the halosperm kit on the net, thinking of purchasing but how does it improve the outcome of ICSI? is it possible to use the good sperm and neglect the the one with fragmented DNA after applying the test on sperm??? i know that the test is a screening only that gives you a percentage of DNA fragmented sperm among the semen sample.
Please clarify ... with many thanks.
Mohammed Inrahim."

"Halosperm DNA fragmentation kit gives an accurate information about sperm DNA fragmentation & that too without the need of sophisticated equipments, however the technique is tricky and needs patience to achieve consistent performance. the results are reliable and may help improving the outcome of an ART procedure, particularly the ICSI."
