Question:

dear all, I have a problem with embryo necrosis, for tha past 5 months  we have 5 patients with total necrosis and lysis of all embryos after transfer in G2 for day 5 embryo culture and I still cannot find the reason. I have cheked everything - t, CO2 of the incubators , they are daily checked, the incubators were cleaned and we had other patients with normaly developing embryos in the same culture medium at the same time. Could you pls help with advice what to do.

Thanks a lot!

"Dear Nina,
We once had a case like that and discovered that the patient had an altered vaginal flora that probably infeced the culture media. The second cicle the patient started profilaxia and we had a media with and increase concentration of pen/strep.

Best regards"
