Embryo Thawing Pack is for thawing human zygotes and cleavage stage embryos frozen using Embryo Freezing Pack (Cat. No. 1026) or Embryo Freezing Medium (Cat. No. 1079).

Background
Cryopreservation of surplus embryos serves to augment the success of assisted conception treatments for infertile couples.

Embryo Thawing Pack is supplied as ready-to-use solutions prepared with 1,2-propanediol and sucrose for the 3-step thawing procedure according to J. Testart et al., 1986.
