Intended use
Flushing Medium is for oocyte retrieval and oocyte washing, and as a holding medium for the oocytes as they are recovered
Background
Oocytes must be kept in a solution with stable pH and temperature throughout oocyte retrieval and transport from the operating theatre to the embryology laboratory.
Flushing Medium is ready-to-use and designed for this purpose. Flushing Medium supplemented with Heparin is to be used to prevent clotting if blood is present after flushing the follicles. |
