This course is designed to provide the latest information on the mechanism, diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of reproductive endocrine disorders. Emphasis will be placed on the scope and limitations of different diagnostic interventions and the use of evidence-based medicine in deciphering infertility problems.

Interactive and problem-solving sessions may be of particular value to registrants who are preparing for board certification.



OBJECTIVES

At the conclusion of this course the participant should be able to:

? Describe the appropriate diagnostic steps and management for a wide range of reproductive disorders;

? Specify the scope and limitations of different diagnostic interventions;

? Apply the use of evidence-based medicine in decision-making in infertility and other reproductive disorders;

? Gain an appreciation of the appropriate summary statistics for ?time to pregnancy? and other types of reproductive outcomes.
