| o Basic Ultrasonography course:
From 24th of November to 5th of December, 1990
This workshop was held in the Gynecology department in Benha Faculty of Medicine, Zagazig University. The course program included daily lectures to explain the theoretical underground followed by attending real US examination performed by the instructors. Each candidate has to practice the available cases under supervision of the responsible professor. By the end of this course, I was able to visualize and confirm intrauterine pregnancy, its viability. Basic US examination including determination of gestational age, determination of fetal numbers, undertaking fetal measurements and assessment of fetal growth were mastered. Also assessment of fetal presentations, amount of liquor and placental grading in US examination done during the third trimester are covered.
o Advanced Ultrasonography course:
22 to 27 May 1999, El- Azhar University
I used to do US examination to all my patients whenever a machine is available. I attended this workshop to refine my knowledge and to improve my experience in the field of US examination. Lectures and practical applications were provided by the supervisors followed by candidate training on some of the presented patients. Topics that were given during this course included detection of early-pregnancy abnormalities e.g. trophoplastic disease, ectopic pregnancy, blighted ovum, cervical incompetence. Accurate detection of placental site and abnormalities, detection of fetal abnormalities and assessment of fetal growth restriction using Doppler study were stressed. Gynecologic cases were also presented including folliculometry for cases of infertility, detection of genital tract congenital abnormalities and diagnosis of adnexal masses.
o Laparoscopic and microsurgery operative training for MOH doctors:
24 July to 15 Nov 1999, Al-Hussein Hospital, El-Azhar University
The workshop and the lectures were covered by professors of gynecology and obstetric in El-Azhar University (Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Tagy, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Sherief, Prof. Dr. Mourad Hasanein, Prof. Dr. Gamal Soroor….).
During the first month, tutorial classes, including videotapes, about the uses of laparoscopy in diagnosis and management mainly in the field of infertility were well constructed. Then Two months for practical application in the operative theatre. Each candidate has to assist first in 11 different cases for diagnostic and surgical laparoscopy and then has to perform another 11 diagnostic laparoscopy under the supervision of the professor. I assisted in 3 cases of microsurgical tuboplasty after attending 2 cases as observant.
o Workshop for service Providers on Essential obstetric care from JSI (healthy mother/healthy child project in corporation with USAID)

One week workshop for application of post partum devices
o Training course in Reproductive Health Service Providers
2004, El-Galaa Regional training center
One week course that was headed by Dr. Abdel-Aziz El Shobary, the director of the hospital, Dr. N. Abou Shady and Dr. M. El-Shawarby. The course started by morning lectures followed by video tapes about the different methods of contraception and their application.
o Egyptian board training course on CPR & BLS-ATLS (July2004).
The workshop for one week included cardiopulmonary resuscitation and basic life support courses. The course was both theoretical and practical application on models and I passed the final exam with excellent marks. Also the basics of ATLS were included with special emphasis on the initial assessment and management for shocked and traumatized patients, both adult and pediatric age groups.
o Specialist Workshop “From science to action: reproductive health in Arab Countries” (2004)
5 to 23 December, American University in Cairo, Social Research Center
The theoretical part was tutorials and seminars about the success in health research, quality of research and its method, epidemiological tools for measuring health, national maternal mortality studies and the impact of improved client-provider interaction on women achievement of fertility goals, reproductive health indicators. The practical application was through table discussion and workshops aiming at development of research proposal.
o Training in El-Galaa Infertility Center (2004 – 2006)
After I had finished my training course for 2 months as scheduled by the panel of the board, I felt interested in that field. I asked for attachment to the unit after finishing the board program and this was approved. My job was to evaluate cases of infertility as regard endocrinal profile, tubal patency using HSG, sono-hydrography. I got a good experience with induction of ovulation, folliculometry and cervical factor study as out patient work. My duties included admission and preparation of the patients that need laparoscopy, myomectomy or tuboplasty. I attend the different surgical procedures done for those patients.
o MVA workshop in El-Galaa (July 2005)
The work shop covered by Dr.A.Elraise and Dr. M.Essmail for 6 days .It included morning lectures followed by practical application in the operating theater. Each of the trainees had to do three cases.
o Perineal repair prevention and management
December 2005, Al-Zahraa Hospital, Al-Azhar University.
Covered by prof Dr.K.El Dewani prof of Obst ein shams Uneversity. It was one day work shop, started by lectures about how to prevent perineal tears during vaginal delivery, and video tape for diagnostic tools of the condition, followed by training for repair on models.

º Consultant obstetric & Gynecology
El monera hospital, Ministry of Health from April 2007 till date .the hospital is a secondary care general hospital with 26 bed gynecology and obstetric department. The teem of our department consists of four consultants, 25 specialists and 20 residents doctors. My duty is responsibility about infertility unit, and responsibility about the emergency unit a day per week.the total no of deliveries done in 2007 were 2408 normal vaginal deliveries and 1065 C.S.The total no of gynecological operations done at the same period were 442 operations.
o Consultant Obstetric & Gynecology
Al-Khalifa General Hospital, Ministry of Health, Cairo from June 2006 till April 2007.The hospital is a secondary care general hospital with a 30-bed gynecology and obstetric department. It lies in the old part of Cairo and drain a good sector of Cairo. There are 6 teams in our department; each consists of 10 - 12 specialists, 4 - 6 assistant specialists and 4 - 5 residents. As a consultant, I am assigned as a head of one of the teams. El-Galaa Teaching Hospital from March 2001 to May 2006.
El-Galaa Teaching Hospital is the biggest tertiary hospital for gynecology and obstetrics in Egypt under the care of the Ministry of Health with a flow load of 20,000 deliveries per year. It is the major referral center for the difficult and complicated cases from allover Egypt. I had an excellent experience in the management of patients with infertility specially their endocrinal & radiological assessment and treatment. I could built a good experience in the following parameters;
