The course duration is 1 week to two weeks. The candidate would be exposed to clinical as well as laboratory aspects of ART . It would include working in the IVF lab. There would be maximum of 2 candidates per course. Hands on would be given in handling the micromanipulator,handling & Injecting unfertilised oocytes,sperm prepration & semen freezing techniques. The candidate would be educated in the establishment as welll as working of an IVF lab. The unit would help the candidate to set up their own lab in case of such requirement.
The unit has trained numerous people over the last 14 years & helped set up many ART labs in India.
