"You can repeat the hcg intramuscular, as the clearance is faster in the intravenous route and the maturation will be affected but one shd be careful and watch for OHSS if the estradiol is more than 2500pg/ml"

Intravenous hCG for IVF
Michael L. Reed said on 20 July 2010

"I don't have an answer for this, and it may be too late by the time this is posted, but my concern over timing of egg retrieval, or ovulation after intravenous administration of hCG, would center around the clearance rate of hCG, since the delivery method is different. And what would the effective doses be for either the intravenous or intramuscular route? The manufacturer might have the data from animal models, if such an approach was ever studied. A literature search sounds like a good idea.

I would be interested in hearing how your case progressed, regardless.

Mike"
