"most of the times IVF/ICSI fails because of over-exposure of oocytes/embryos. week oocytes are the ones which have a reduced capacity to to heal after the damage which occurs during in-vitro exposure."

"One more point is that you have to do FSH, E2 and LH on day 2 or day three.
Some women produce very poor quality oocytes time and again in IVF cycles. We have done cytoplasmic transfer to improve the quality of oocytes, this could be by sacrifising one of the better quality oocytes or from a single donor egg. If a donr egg is used for CT the chromosome of the baby would be same as the genetic parents as only mitochondrial chromosomes are affected.
One must also look at quality of embryos., endometrium, maternal age etc. We have had pregnancies by this technique."

"Dear Friend,
There are few questions to be answered.
1) How are the embryos? are the developing normally?
2) How is the endometrium development? and hows the vascularity?
3) If patient is of elderly group the chances of morphological and genetically abnormal embryos are there, and the day-2 FSH, LH will help you to choose the proper protocol and drug for stimulation."
