Question:

Dear all

Which media should I use to perform ICSI?

Can I perform ICSI in fertilization media or should I perform ICSI in MOPS or HEPES?

Thank a lot

"If you were quick in performing the ICSI, you can just do it using non-hepes media. otherwise, it is preferreble to do it in hepes buffer media.
i personally do it in hepes buffer media"

HEPES is better

"Dear Dhana ;
It's better to use HEPES because you are preforming ICSI with no CO2 conditions. Fertilisation media needs CO2"

"Use mops or htf with hepes.
They give similar results,"

"I prefer you to use HEPES medium for ICSI, Because there is no pH is needed for HEPES buffer and also its a best buffer too. When u are using fertilization medium, u should complete ICSI within a short period of time. Using HEPES medium is ideal one."
