Entering the world is a complex event simultaneously
involving emotions, expectations and personal difficulties
relating to the primary dimensions of existence. The extent
of this complexity requires the medical and human sciences to join
forces especially in the age of biotechnologies and different social and
cultural settings. The Congress will explore the topics of conception,
pregnancy and birth in their impact on the relationship between
body and mind and our representations of parenthood.
