"Not that I think this discussion can accomplish much; but how many failed cycles are we talking about and has your clinic had success in the past?

If you've been having positive pregnancy tests but no fetal hearts?

Fert rates of "up to" 80% arn't particularly high, in fact I'd suggest that's about average for ICSI with ejaculated sperm, and IVF. Good embryo quality I feel used to be based on the numbers of 8, 9, 10 cells on D3, and now on the numbers of good blastocysts on D5.

When looking at culutre conditions that might have changed, look for changes in batch dates from suppliers for media AND plasticware that might have made a difference."

sameer pahlajani said on 20 May 2009

"if the culture conditons were not good, how can we get high fertilization rates[upto 80%]
we use only warm water to clean the lab walls ,floor and roof... and alcohol for the platform
how to check for the cuture conditions for the lab
what factors affect implantation..."

Not much to go on, but I'll give it a crack
Simon Aiken said on 20 May 2009

"No implantation occured. Possible reasons are: - despite being "good" embryos they did not continue to develop/hatch as expected. - while endometrial thickness was as expected, the embryos did not bury inside. - while the clinican reported a good insertion of the cath, and no embryos were seen in the dish/tubes afterwards, the insertion was not correct. If the clinican you're using has had pregnancies in the past and you continue to get no positive results, I'd start looking at your culture conditions - despite having nice embryos."
