Question:
(1)is metphormine necessary in ivf preparating treatment? and if yes, please tell me the mode of its action and its benifits for ivf/icsi (2)what is the suitable time of ovum pick up?

"Do you mean Metformin we use in PCO patients to increase insulin sensitivity? If so it is not routinely necessary. Only in PCO patients. You can give it during ovarian stimulation and even after embryo transfer till 12 weeks of pregnancy.

We may be talking about two different things!!"
