Question:

I want to buy a mini-incubator for blastocyst culture but I don’t know what to chose since I have two possibilities : one is MINC benchtop incubator from COOC, and the second option is    ORGIO/Planer Benchtop Incubator BT37 from MidAtlantic. I have strong recomandation from people how work with Cook and nothing about Orgio but Orgio has a good price. Can somebody give me more details about Orgio in comparation with Cook.

Thanks

Mihaela R

"BT-37 from Planer/Orgio apparently has best of both worlds. It has taken care of issues of cranked and water clogged humidity tubing by employing tube guides and heaters. It also comes with built-in battery power which lasts for 2 hours. There is also a visual indication for active humidification. The heating plate(s) are calibrated at 6 different points as against other Incubator. (I am a distributor of Planer/Origio products in India)"

Mincs vs BT37

"Having experience of both incubators I have found them to be very similar in terms of design and function. Both are capable of supporting embryo growth with reduced oxygen levels and both have broadly similar features. The mincs do have the track record but I would suggest that all companies have to start somewhere with a new product and the BT37 is a valuable addition to the market of small volume, reduced oxygen incubators. Ultimately I think you would be pleased with either and other factors may affect your decision (Price, support etc) as to which to buy

Regards

Paul"
