Question:

What is the effect of G.MOPS (Vitrolife) when used for washing oocytes and then culture the same oocytes in ISM1 (Medicult)? I have used it like this and it seems to result in my results dropping. Secondly, what could be responsible for inconsistent CO2 reading of my incubator?

"hi Samson,
IT is recomended not to use different medias for the same set of gametes /embryos, they may have a different salt base which can cause metabolic shock to the embryos/gametes.
your incubator might be needing calibration at the operating temperature which should be kept unchanged (if its a TC sensor based), also, the supply pressure of co2 should remain unaltered.
