No fertilzation after egg retrieval (reasons/suggestions)

Question:
There were 6 eggs and none fertilized. Is it possible that there was a bad batch that month and patient should try again? Any other medications should be introduced besides Follistim and Ganirelix that might aid in better egg quality?

"You have to check woman's age, base line hormones, egg scoring, LH and P4 on day of hCG, sperm motility, acrosome reaction, sperm binding at 6-8 hours, sperm morphology etc. I would certainly try ICSI next time if other factors are favourable."
