NYU Fertility Center and Cork Fertility Centre: A Hands-on Blastocyst Workshop

Dr. Caroline McCaffrey, NYU Fertility Center, NY, NY 20 March 2008 Renowned doctors from NYU Fertility Center and Cork Fertility Centre will speak on customization of IVF stimulation regimens, biology of early embryonic development, extended embryo culture techniques, quality control in the IVF lab, clinical experiences with blastocyst culture and transfer as well as embryo and oocyte cryopreservation. Topics such as single embryo transfer, monozygotic twinning, epigenetic modifications and a comparison of IVF success rates between Europe and America will be addressed. Dr. J. Grifo, a pioneer in preimplantation genetic diagnosis, will speak on PGS and PGD. Delegates will also have an opportunity to get hands-on experience in blastocyst culture techniques, assessing blastocyst quality and blastocyst vitrification.
