MI oocytes to healthy baby.
Dr.Saritha K.R said on 10 April 2010
"We had many such cases. Within 4- 6hours most of the MI will change in to MII in fertilization media itself. ICSI done on such MII oocytes showed fertilization, cleavage, pregnancy following embryo transfer and delivered normal healthy baby. Normally we do Day 3 transfer. Ootyes which mature to MII on next day of retrieval though turns to beautiful embryos following ICSI, pregnancy never occurred after embryo transfer.

"2: oocyte in vitro maturation
Yes, we observe MI oocytes upon denudation and after 2-3 hours in vitro we observe mature MII oocytes. We do perform ICSI and on several occasions embryo transfer was performed with nice 4-cell embryos obtained after ICSI with in vitro matured MI to MII oocytes. I have not data on pregnancies or live births after such transfers."
