Question:
Hi Folks, looking for a little guidance in possible use of premix gas (5%O2/6%CO2/89%N2) and Heraeus incubators that are designed for 100%CO2, hoping to try and validate the system if goes well, but open to suggestions if anyone would care to comment. Ta

"Hi. You cant use premixed gas for 100% CO2 incubator like Heracell. You would have to purchase a O2 control technology to be incorporated into the CO2 incubator.Even if you have the O2 control, you cant use premix gas. You have to use CO2 and pure nitrogen gasses to displace the atmospheric oxygen concentration (ie:20% ATM). That's how it works for a low O2 concentration. But I doubt you can purchase an O2 control for your current CO2 incubator. You would have to purchase a brand new one and order a separate O2 control and the engineers will incorporate it for you. Hope this helps."
