Research Instruments Limited Announces FDA Marketing Clearance of its Saturn Active Laser Drill for Assisted Hatching of Embryos

Research instruments reported today that it has received FDA marketing clearance for its Saturn Active zona laser drill.  The Saturn Active is the first directional laser device to be awarded marketing clearance for laser-assisted hatching of human embryos in clinical applications. 

The ability of the Saturn Active to direct the laser beam speeds up clinical procedures as you do not need to position the egg accurately with micromanipulators before drilling.
