Smiths Medical worked with the pioneers of IVF to develop and manufacture the world renowned Wallace Embryo Transfer Catheter. Since 1978 the Wallace Catheter has become the most popular catheter worldwide and remains the gold standard being associated with the highest pregnancy rates.

Smiths Medical has recently taken steps to begin servicing the US market directly with the Wallace Assisted Reproduction product range. Their wide customer base and direct sales presence in the US market will assist in launching the EZ-Strip® device in the coming months.

The EZ-Strip® offers superb control and is unique in that it is totally disposable so there is no possibility of cross contamination. The tips are plastic so there is no risk of scratching petri dishes and leeching toxins into the media and there are no moving parts that can fail or require repair as with other devices.
