.I had a vast experience in IVF from a Hospital in Amman, Jordan, where I was trained and had worked for six years. This Hospital is the largest IVF clinic in the Middle East, performing more than 3000 cycles / year (all ICSI). I was certified to perform all duties in the IVF lab, all to a high standard.
In June 2004 I had been the Laboratory Director with the overall responsibility of the staff and day to day running of the lab. I was also the only embryologist licensed to do ICSI, leaving me solely responsible for injecting all oocytes from over 100 patients every week.
My responsibility as lab director also included performing all the embryo biopsies and FISH analyses for PGD and PGAS, undertaking around 10 cases weekly.
I am very interested in research and was involved in a project aiming at optimizing the outcome of In Vitro Maturation (IVM) in human. I had also been involved in projects looking at timing of ICSI injections and its effect on the pregnancy outcome and different applications of PGD and PGAS such as sex selection |
