SHORT-TERM COURSE AND WORKSHOP ON Human Embryonic Stem Cell Culture Techniques

During this intensive five-day training workshop,participants will acquire knowledge and receive hands-on-training on:

> Derivation, expansion and freezing of mouse embryonic fibroblasts (MEFs), as feeders for hES cell culture.

> Propagation, maintenance and cryo-preservation of hES colonies.

> Characterization of hES cells by immuno-cytochemical and RT-PCR analysis of pluripotent markers.

> In-vitro differentiation of hES cells into embryoid bodies.
