Hello
In the clinic I work we do Sperm Washing of men infected with HIV. We use a long protocol for removal of the virus from the sperm. At the end of the protocol we have two samples: one pre-wash and one post-wash, that we send to a molecular laboratory in a hospital for viral analysys. We would expect for the post-wash sample to be clean and not to have any virus, but instead we are obtaining higher concentrations of the virus. The protocol we use is a well established one.
Does anyone perform this protocol and had the same results?
Thank You
