SOFAT INFERTILITY CENTRE boasts of state of the ART, IVF and ICSI laboratory which has world class HERA CELL CO2 incubator, Galaxy CO2 incubator, Trinocular Nikon Stereozoom Microscope, A Nikon inverted microscope along with a Narishige Manipulator attachment with a Samsung CCTV camera and TV monitor.

SEMEN BANK

Dedicated Semen Bank is maintained Donor is screened for HIV, HCV, HBsAg and VDRL. Donor’s physical characters in terms of skin colour, hair colour, eye colour, height, weight, blood group and IQ are matched. Complete secrecy is maintained for donor and recipient.





EGG AND EMBRYO BANK

For women who are unable to produce eggs, Egg Bank facility is available. Assisted Hatching Facility.

CRYOPRESERVATION

Spare embryo are frozen and used for future treatment.

THE ANDROLOGY LABORATORY

The centre has dedicated THE Andrology Laboratory for semen preparation.

ENDOSCOPY DIVISION

All advance laparoscopy procedure like laparoscopic myomectomy, tubo tubal anastomsis, tubal recanalization, adhesiolysis and laparoscopic excision of endometriomas , hysteroscopic myomectomy, excision of intracavitary polyps, resection of uterine septums, hysteroscopic adhesiolysis.

TRANSPARENCY AND DOCUMENTATION

The Centre is known for its transpency in the IVF program. All patients are given a IVF cycle summary which includes drugs used for ovarian stimulation, number of embryo transferred, patients are given recording of oocytes retrieval and colour printout of all embryos that are transferred in that particular cycle.
