Laboratory (M) Sdn Bhd: DR JOTHI KUMAR Medical Advisor Dr Jothi Kumar was involved in the field of subfertility and A.R.T. since 1991 and was the Clinical Coordinator of the Subfertility Medicine and A.R.T. Programme, and the Division Head of Reproductive Medicine at National University Hospital (NUH), Singapore from 1997 - 2001. He was also a member of the successful NUH team that produced the world's first baby born after transfer of zona-softened blastocysts in both stimulated and natural A.R.T. cycles. DR TAN JUI SENG Resident IVF Consultant Dr Tan Jui Seng, a specialist of Obstetrics & Gynaecology in Johor Bahru, obtained his A.R.T. training in United Kingdom and Singapore. Dr Tan is also actively involved in Minimally Invasive Surgery. MS RACHEL CHIN Laboratory Manager / Chief Embryologist Ms Rachel Chin obtained her Master in Clinical Embryology at National Univesity of Singapore (NUS), Singapore in 2001. She has many years of experience in carrying out reproductive technologies procedures and had attended numerous international symposia and conferences. She is experienced in handling specialized procedures such as blastocyst culture, assisted hatching and Pre-implantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD). Ms Rachel has performed numerous number of A.R.T. cycles (IVF, ICSI, GIFT, Blastocyst Transfer, Frozen-thawed cleavage stage embryo and Frozen-thawed blastocyst stage embryo) with more than 40% clinical pregnancy rate. She was the Chief Embryologist of the team that produced Malaysia's first frozen-thawed blastocyst transfer pregnancy. She is also the author and co-author of a few medical articles that were presented in the Malaysian Congress of Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
