We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Fertility Specialist/ Consultant to join our busy clinic in Nottingham. You will be a skilled professional with experience or have an interest in developing skills in assisted conception and have the desire to be part of the largest provider of IVF in the UK.

TFP Fertility has a comprehensive network of world-renowned clinicians who share their views and knowledge across all the TFP Fertility clinics. You will manage the care of new and existing patients from the consultation process through to the completion of treatment working within the framework of evidence based clinical policies and protocols.

The post holder must have a full GMC registration and will work with the multidisciplinary team within the clinic. The post holder will be responsible for delivering and maintaining the highest standard of clinical and patient care in accordance with HF&E Act 2008 and the current HFEA Code of Practice.

The position is 30 hours per week and is available as a 1 year fixed term contract or as a bank role depending on the requirements of the successful applicant. 
 

The Location:
Nurture Fertility was established in 1991 and due to the passion, expertise and reputation of our team, has grown into a leading fertility clinic. Providing treatment to both NHS and private patients, Nurture Fertility performs approximately 700 fresh cycles and 500 frozen cycles per year. Offering a full suite of treatment and diagnostic services, including PGT. Conveniently located on the outskirts of Nottingham, adjacent to junction 25 of the M1, there is ample free parking for staff and patients at the front of the building. Our state-of-the-art laboratory was purpose built in 2014 and is equipped with the latest equipment and monitoring systems that support us in achieving excellent outcome KPI’s. Nurture Fertility also has a 5/5 inspection rating from the HFEA.

Role and Responsibilities:

• HyCoSy & Saline procedures

• Egg collections

• Embryo transfer lists

• Work closely with medical, nursing and other colleagues to offer the highest level of patient care

• Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary fertility team

• Conducting Consultations

• SSR procedures desirable

• Provide weekend on call commitment

The above will be reviewed as required, in consultation with the post holder. It is offered as a guide to the key responsibilities and duties, but does not preclude other projects that may arise as the organisation evolves.

Salary: Competitive

Pension: Dual Contribution scheme.

Holiday Entitlement: 27 Days + Bank holidays

Training and qualifications: Help and assistance will be provide to complete ATSMs or BFS training modules where appropriate

Experience Required:  • Experience in Gynaecology or Fertility • Demonstrable clinical experience working as a Consultant, Fellow or Doctor
Education Required:  • Full GMC Registration and inclusion on the Specialist Register • High Diploma (Fellowship or Membership) of Speciality College MRCOG or equivalent
